Ingredients:
½ cup rice
½ cup spilt moong dal green
1 tsp garlic paste
1 tsp ginger paste
½ tsp turmeric powder
2 tbsp ghee
Pinch of asafoetida (hing)
2 ½ cups water
Salt
Method:
Soak the rice and moong dal for 15 minutes. Heats the ghee
in pressure cooker add hing, garlic paste, ginger paste, turmeric powder and sauté
for second. Add soaked rice and dal and water, mix it well. Cook for 4 whistles
on low flame. Serve with ghee or curd or butter milk.

we do add at times rai ka tadka
and with plain dahi its good
its simple easy to digest meal
